DIY: toilet bombs (like a bath bomb that'll clean your toilet for you!)
The non-toxic, plastic free, sustainable way to clean your toilet: Toilet Bombs.
Almost like a bath bomb, except for your toilet.
Here’s how you can make them at home for pennies per use.
Ingredients:
Instructions:
In a medium sized bowl combine baking soda and citric acid, stir.
Pour in castile soap, stir until mixed well.
Scoop mixture out and put it in silicon molds, packing it down.
Add 2 drops of essential oil to each individual toilet bomb.
Let sit overnight in a cool, dry place.
Pop each toilet bomb out of molds and store in a cool, dry place.
Drop one toilet bomb in the toilet, allow it to fizzle, and scrub like normal. The toilet bomb will take care of most of the scrubbing for you.
Note: If your pet likes to drink from the toilet, opt for an essential oil that's safe for pets.
