5 Non-Toxic Cleaning DIYs you Need to Make
Spring Cleaning. But with all non toxic cleaning solutions that are so easy to make!
Store Bought cleaning brands are full of toxins that can irritate your eyes, lungs, and throat, cause a rash, disrupt your hormones, and even cause infertility.
We don’t even need those ingredients in the cleaners - there are nontoxic ingredients that work just as well if not better!
Not only are DIY cleaners better for you, your family, your home, they’re also better for the environment and much more sustainable!
Here are all the DIY recipes you’ll need to clean this year!
DIY “Windex”:
1 Cup Water
1 Cup White Vinegar
10 Drops Lemon Essential Oil
16 Oz Glass Spray Bottle
Store in a cool, dark cabinet.
Directions:
Combine all ingredients to the spray bottle
Use as you would with "normal" glass cleaner!
Disinfectant Countertop Cleaner:
1 Cup Water
1 Cup White Vinegar
1/4 Cup Alcohol
10 Drops Lemon Essential Oil
16 Oz Glass Spray Bottle
Directions
Combine all ingredients to the spray bottle
Use as you would with "normal" glass cleaner!
Store in a cool, dark cabinet.

Produce Soak:
1 Cup Vinegar Per
4 Cups of water
2-3 drops Lemon Essential Oil
OR 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
Directions
Fill sink or large bowl full of water
Add all ingredients
Allow to soak 5-10 minutes
Strain with a colander Rinse with cold running water
Drain Cleaner:
1/2 CBaking Soda
1/2 C Vinegar
10 Drops Lemon Oil
Boil Water
Directions
Pour the baking soda and vinegar over the drain. Let it fizzle.
Pour boiling water down the drain.
Put 10 drops of lemon oil in drain for a refreshing aroma.
Tub Cleaner:
3/4 cup baking soda.
1/4 cup Castile soap.
1 tablespoon of water.
10 drops lemon essential oil.
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a jar with a lid, stir.
Use a scoop at a time to remove soap scum.
