Essential Oils for Hair

If you want to support your hair with essential oils, peppermint and rosemary are some of my favorites! Here’s why.

Peppermint Essential Oil for Hair

Peppermint, of course, has that instant, cooling scent, and feeling. I love adding a drop of peppermint oil to my shampoo to my hair in the morning to wake me up!

Using peppermint oil in your hair can help to nourish and promote hair growth - who doesn't love that? Also, if you deal with greasy hair, peppermint oil can help to balance scalp pH for a healthier scalp and allow you to go longer in between washes.

Rosemary Essential Oil for Hair

Rosemary oil is another fresh scent I love to add to my hair care routine. It helps to stimulate the scalp and increase circulation to promote hair growth. It also nourishes and protects your hair for less frizz and more moisture. And it has natural antibacterial properties, making it excellent for dealing with dandruff or dry scalp!

My favorite way to incorporate these oils into my haircare routine is by adding a drop or two to my shampoo or using this simple DIY Hair Oil.
