How to reframe negative thought patterns

Cleansing the brain is like washing your face but with a conversation with yourself.

It starts with writing down negative thought patterns.

For example, if you look in the mirror and immediately think “ugh I wish i didn't have so many pimples” or “I need to lose weight!” write down what you're saying to yourself and confront yourself.

If someone else was saying that to you, you'd want to punch them in the face - so please stop saying it to yourself.

You’re worthy of this.

The worksheets below will help guide you through the process of creating thought patterns that serve you.

First write down the negative thoughts you have throughout the day. Don't hold back, just be raw and honest.

In a separate column, ask yourself if this statement is true for the person you are becoming?

For example, if you wrote down “I hate my job.” Is that serving you? If the statement isn’t serving you or helping your situation, it’s time to reframe it.

In the third column, write a positive affirmation related to the negative self talk. Such as, “My options are limitless with networking opportunities around me wherever I go.”

I have a list of affirmations for commonly said negative self talk to help you shift the energy around your negative self talk.

This is a hands on activity and will help best when putting pen to paper. After you go through the worksheet - message me on Instagram or email me and let me know how it’s helping you! You’re worth it.
