How to use lavender oil
Lavender oil is often referred to as the swiss army knife of essential oils because it can be used for so many things! It’s one of my favorites to have on hand wherever I go!
Calm anxious thoughts
If you deal with anxious thoughts, lavender oil can be a great tool to help you relax. Diffuse a few drops of lavender oil in your home throughout the day for a calming aroma, or apply it, diluted, to your wrists.
Clear skin
Lavender can calm not only your thoughts but also your skin. Dilute and apply lavender oil on areas where you want to reduce redness or add a drop to your moisturizer to nourish your skin.
Promote restful sleep
Add a few drops of lavender oil to your toddler’s diffuser at naptime or bedtime to help them unwind and promote restful sleep.
Shiny hair
Add a drop of lavender oil to your shampoo to give it a healthy shine - and a great scent!
Safety
When using lavender, or any essential oil, remember to always dilute! You can read more about dilution on this blog post!
