Top 10 Ways to Use Peppermint Oil
Peppermint oil is a versatile essential oil that has been used for centuries for its therapeutic properties. It has a cooling, refreshing, and energizing aroma with so mant uses - here are my top ten fav ways to use it!
Aromatherapy: Peppermint oil can be used in a diffuser to create a refreshing and energizing atmosphere. It can also help promote focus, this is one that you want to diffuse in your office.
Headache relief: Peppermint oil has analgesic properties that can help to relieve headaches. Simply apply a diluted drop of peppermint oil to your temples, forehead, and neck, and massage gently. Or make a 10 ml roller bottle with 10 drops of peppermint and 10 ml of a liquid carrier oil.
Respiratory support: Peppermint oil can be used to alleviate respiratory symptoms such as coughing, congestion, and sinusitis. You can inhale it directly from the bottle or add a few drops to a bowl of hot water and inhale the steam.
Muscle pain relief: Peppermint oil has a cooling effect that can help to relieve muscle pain and soreness. Mix a few drops with a carrier oil like coconut oil or almond oil and massage onto the affected area.
