How to Detox Your Home: Simple Tips for a Clean and Healthy Living Space

Detoxing your home may seem like a daunting task, but it doesn't have to be. With one swap at a time, you can have a holistic home sooner than you think!

A few simple changes can help you create a clean and healthy living space. Here are my 3 tops for getting started!

Choose non-toxic products: This could be making your own DIY cleaners and shopping for nontoxic products for skincare, makeup, baby products, and your kitchen! Some people like to make all their swaps at once, but personally - I found it less overwhelming to make one swap at a time as I ran out of one product, I swapped it with a nontoxic product.

Improve air quality: Use air-purifying plants such as spider plants, peace lilies, and English ivy to help remove harmful pollutants from the air. You can also use essential oils in a diffuser to freshen the air and promote relaxation or invest in a quality air purifier like this one

Reducing synthetic fragrances: Synthetic fragrances, such as air fresheners and scented candles, can contain harmful chemicals that can cause health problems. Instead, use natural essential oils or opt for unscented products. If you LOVE candles, opt for a beeswax candle for the nontoxic option!

Take it one step at a time - it’s a lifestyle, not a quick fix.
