5 Simmer Pot Recipes to Make Your Home Smell Like Christmas (without synthetic fragrance)

There's something about Christmas time that makes us want to fill our homes with warm and cozy scents. However, most candles are filled with synthetic fragrance and other ingredients that aren't great for our health. So instead, I recommend essential oils or a simmer pot!

What is a simmer pot?

A simmer pot is a boiling pot of water filled with fresh spices, herbs, and fruits. I love making simmer pots in the fall and winter because it makes your whole house smell divine

Simmer pots are also easy to make and a great way to use leftover herbs or fruits you may have lying around.

Simmer pots also make a great gift! Just add all the ingredients to a jar and tie a ribbon!

Combine all ingredients in a pot or crockpot, and cover with a lid until warm. Once warm, partially remove the lid and turn the heat low.
